"The crowd goes NUTS!"

Windstorm is THE hottest soul band in the Ark La Tex, bar none. Pros, that are multi-talented and a sight to behold onstage. They can put on an electrifying show with choreography & costumes or a laidback musical medley that'll make you fall in love all over again.

Windstorm has traveled many places, including a trip to perform in London, England. They have also opened for Bobby Brown, Lakeside, Luther Vandross, H-Town, Usher, and the Commodores. Guitarist Ron Johnson played for years with Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Co-Leader Eric Hunter is one of the three featured vocalists/frontmen , backed by a 5 piece band for an 8 piece Showband Royale.

No matter what style of music that you like- Blues, R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, or Old School Funk& Motown, Windstorm can cover it like no other band around.

Songs covered include hits by Prince, Usher, Outkast, Avant, 50 Cent, Genuine, R.Kelly, Morris Day, Maze, Lakeside, Cameo, Gap Band, Earth,Wind & Fire, Commodores, B B King, ZZ Hill, Johnny Taylor, H-Town, Zapp, Boys 2 Men, Kool & the Gang, K C &the Sunshine Band, O Jays, Bar-Kays Justin Timberlake, Temptations and Marvin Gaye. And a special treat: great originals upon request from their upcoming CD…..book them while you can afford them!

-WINDSTORM TESTIMONIALS-
“Windstorm was awesome. No one wanted to quit dancing...
they are quite the performers!” Ann Sibley, Mother of the Bride
Wedding January 28, 2006

Absolutely, I have probably had more positive things said to meregarding them than any other aspect of the evening. To say they were popular would be an understatement. Please pass along ourcompliments to Eric next time you see him. It was a pleasure workingwith you and I'll be sure and recommend you to others in the future whoare looking to book musical entertainment. Thanks so much David Drummond, LSU Med School Cadaver ball 4/14/08

from the News-Messinger of El Dorado, AR, January 6, 2009, by Roderick Harrington:
The fabulous Shreveport band Windstorm was again impressive when they played at the Elks Club last Saturday. The group features incredible musicians, two great lead vocalists and a total package that is rivaled by few others. The group formed in the latte 1980s. They’ve performed with the likes of Bobby Brown, Luther Vandross, H-Town, Usher and the Commodores. I could sit and watch guitarist Ron Johnson for hours, as I did Saturday night. He spent a little time with Ike & Tina Turner and others. He’s the epitome of cool when it comes to guitarists. Saturday he wore a black baseball cap, his trademark glasses and played his beautiful fender. When he joined in on the vocals he topped the four-party harmony. The lead vocalists out front are Ronald"Slack"Jefferson and Eric Hunter. Other members of the band are Reginald Harper on keyboards and vocals, Frank Monroe on bass, Charles Poma on drums and Alex Johnson on keyboards. Monroe played an 8-string bass Saturday night. They covered everything from Marvin Gaye, Earth, Wind & Fire, Cameo, Lakeside, Morris Day, Prince, Usher and many more. Congratulations to everyone at the Elks for putting on a wonderful show, which drew a full house.
