He has been somewhat of a talent in hiding as only a few people really knew of his vocal abilities. With his natural ability to connect to an audience, he is the perfect front man for the band. It is John who adds the definite smoothness to our repertoire. ************************************************************************ Shane Duran - Percussion - Shreveport, LA Shane sports an impressive resume as drummer within the Shreveport, LA music scene. He has played behind many great local acts- most notably, local artisits Cameron Meshell and Wes Jeans . Shane is the driving force and foundation of the band. His style is solid, tight, with impeccable timing. ************************************************************************ Joel Dyer - Guitar, Vocals - Shreveport, LA Joel, the most recent addition to the line-up, has a long history of great musicianship. Aside from the FunkTrain, his most recent collaboration was with The Caravan. With his melodic rhythms, smooth leads, and great backing vocals, Joel adds a much needed "depth" to our style of music. With his seasoning and talent, he has taken the FunkTrain to the next musical level! ************************************************************************ Wesley Garcia - Bass Guitar, Back-Up Vocals - Shreveport, LA. Wesley Garcia is considered by many musician’s to be one of the premier bass players on the Shreveport, LA music scene. He has toured nationally with Shreveport native Cameron Meshell and was recently a member of The Caravan, a very successful local music group. His funky style on the bass is the backbone of the FunkTrain!! ************************************************************************ Andrew Price - Keyboard, Guitar, Back-up Vocals - Bossier City, LA Andrew provides the soul for the group- wonderful talent that provides subtle intricacies on the keys, yet powerful but soulful licks on the guitar. His break into the local scene was provided by folks such as Keith Horton, Keith Free and Sean Duran, all seasoned veterans of the Shreveport music scene.
